Why is Suzuki Called Suzuki?

Suzuki’s story begins with Japan’s massive silk industry, which was quite a lucrative business back in the 1900s. It was around this time that Michio Suzuki, the founder of the Suzuki corporation, established the Suzuki Loom Manufacturing Company in Hamamatsu, Japan. Michio was born the son of poor cotton farmers and spent much of his early life toiling in the fields before he began working in a loom factory where he studied how looms were designed.

Why is Maserati Called Maserati?

Maserati’s story begins with five brothers who were in love with the automobile industry. Carlo was the oldest, then Bindo, Alfieri, Ettore, and Ernesto, the baby. There were actually two more Maserati boys, Alfieri I, who died as an infant, and Mario, who became an artist and cared very little about the automotive world, though he did design Maserati’s famous trident logo, taking his inspiration from the Fountain of Neptune statue in their home city of Bologna, Italy.

As BMW itself put it, the BMW is “The Ultimate Driving Machine.” Whether or not that’s entirely true, many consumers seem to agree today – BMW’s 3 Series was the #2 best-selling luxury car in America in 2017. Their long history of innovation, along with a great reputation for performance, safety, and quality, have caused it to be one of the most successful and recognizable international brands.
